The Scholar is a small, portable talking "Personal Digital Assistant" (PDA) for braille users from APH and Freedom Scientific® Inc. The new upgraded Scholar includes high-quality DoubleTalk^TM speech, improved interaction with PCs for better formatting and printing, enhanced appointment book and text editing. It now includes reference guides in braille and print, a tutorial audiocassette, a more extensive manual in a variety of format options on a CD-ROM, and WinDisc® and WinPrint® software.
