Materials for Teachers & Students
The Callahan Museum offers an invaluable introduction into how people who are blind or visually impaired experience the world. Through its rare collection of artifacts, students will gain hands-on experiences using technology from the past and the present, discovering how people who are blind and visually impaired achieve self-sufficiency. And, they will leave with a wealth of new information for future discussion and learning.
The following materials provide an introduction to our museum and can help you plan your visit:
- Information for Teachers: tour descriptions, scheduling, and introductory material.
- Information for Students: activities sheets and reference materials for students to use in preparation for their tour.
- Museum Tour Evaluation Sheet: please complete and submit this form after your tour to help us serve future student groups.
